TOY OF THE YEAR 2017
Kinderfeets Kinderboards were voted Activity and Outdoor Toy of the Year in the annual Toy & Hobby Retailer Industry awards.

100% BAMBOO. NO HIDDEN VENEER!
Bamboo is a stunning addition to this award winning product. It’s 100% bamboo with absolutely no hidden veneer.

Dutch children have grown up with these fascinating boards for generations. More recently this multi-use toy was revived for use in Waldorf (Steiner) early childhood classrooms. A Kinderboard helps children develop a sense of balance, stimulate their vestibular system, and gain a deeper awareness of their body and body parts. You can rock it. Balance on it. Push it. Spin it. Flip it and slide. Sit on it or use it like a foot stool. These sturdy beech plywood boards keep energetic children engaged in creative play for hours.

Kinderboards are Dutch designed and recreate the same experience as the original concept. They’re excellent for stimulating child development – both physical and mental – and offer open-ended play opportunities for toddlers, children, teens, and even adults. You can use a Kinderboard both indoors and out, perfect for rainy and sunny days at home or in a school environment.

Watch a child’s imagination take over when their Kinderboard arrives. It becomes a seesaw, a balance board, a slide, a step stool, a boat, a resting place, a doll bed, a puppet stage, a tunnel and many more opportunities for them to explore. The possibilities are endless and truly up to them!

WHY BAMBOO?
Bamboo is stronger than steel and heartier than most hardwood, making it a versatile and valuable building material. Bamboo is also eco-friendly in many ways. It produces more oxygen and absorbs more carbon dioxide than trees. While hard wood takes 30-50 years to mature, bamboo takes between 3-5 years and requires no pesticides or chemicals to encourage the maturation process.

Crafted from skilfully engineered and sustainably sourced bamboo plywood that’s finished with a protective lacquer stain. Made in an ethically run factory that Kinderfeets (and Artiwood) inspect and evaluate regularly. Tested and certified to European and Australian standards. Supports up to 220 kgs. One of four options: Bamboo, Chalkboard, Natural or Whitewash.

Kinderfeets Tiny Tot Trike. The smallest 2-in-1 balance bike on the market

Kinderfeets is a family business. Its owners are energetic and creative Dutch migrants living in the USA. Its name is derived from the Dutch words for "children" and "bicycle". Kinderfeets are wooden balance bikes designed to ease a child's transition to riding a pedal-powered bicycle. Kinderfeets don't just look stunning, they're also ergonomically designed to provide the perfect transition experience. Children as young as 12 months can start with the entry-level Tiny Tot. This beautiful trike starts in a three-wheel format then transforms into a two-wheel balance bike using a conversion kit that comes in the box. With three wheels they can learn to use their feet to get moving. Then, when parents feels their child is ready, it takes just minutes to convert a Tiny Tot from a trike to a two-wheel balance bike. Please note: The recommended age for this product is 12-24 months. However a child's size, fine motor skills and balance coordination should also be taken in consideration. Some children may take a little longer to develop these skills than others; or be of above average height.
