Who else has to prepare for every sensory tray to be filled with construction vehicles? 😂.

While he does use and engage with all the trays we put out, he will ALWAYS convert them to construction play.

If you are new to sensory play, work around your child's interest. Put a simple base, toys they already enjoy and some loose parts. As their confidence grow you can expand your bases and loose parts and they will be more likely to explore this.

This is one of our favourite playdough recipes, mainly because it doesn't have many ingredients and Mr 4 can help make it!

Ingredients:
1 Cup of Flour
1/2 Cup of Salt
2 tbsp of Cream of Tartar
Food Dye
1 Cup of Boiling Water
1 tbsp of Oil

Method:
Mix dry ingredients together.
Add food dye to boiling water
Mix wet and dry ingredients together
Once it starts forming playdough, start kneading with your hands.
