A child loves his play, not because it’s easy, but because it’s hard.
We set up this fun autumn alphabet play tray for Master N so he can practice his alphabet! He already knows most of the letters, but we practiced putting them together to make autumn inspired words.
We got some fun printables online and N really loved using the tongs to pick up the letters (YAY fine motor skills development) and placing them on the printable to make the word.
If your little on is old enough, let them help you by colouring in the pictures and work on their vocabulary by talking about what you are doin, the objects and encourage them to ask the questions.
We also added some loose parts that he could colour sort and practice scooping and pouring.
